Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang

Head of Investment Banking South – Saigon Securities Incorporation

Verticals: Investment Banking, Portfolio Management

Ms.Giang is currently in charge of the investment banking South division at Saigon Securities Incorporation and led significant IPO and M&A deals such as Novaland Group, Hau Giang Pharma and Vinamilk. Prior to working at SSI, Ms. Giang is the Director, Head of Capital market at VinaCapital, in charge of managing the listed and public equity of Vietnam Opportunity Fund, the largest foreign fund in Vietnam at the time with net assets of over USD750 million.

Ms. Giang holds a bachelor degree from University of California, Los Angeles with double majors in business economics and accounting and an MBA from University of Hawaii, United States.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha

Entrepreneur, Previously Business Partner – Third Eye Management Solutions

Ms. Ha was Business Partner at Third Eye Management Solutions, a regional HR Consulting Firm from 2014-2016. In 2013, she founded Sweety Lovey – a premium children fashion brand and has been the CEO since inception. Before joining Third Eye Management Solutions, she had 6-year experience in private banking at HSBC Vietnam and ANZ Vietnam, working her way up from Relationship Manager, Product Manager to Branch Manager and Business Management and Proposition Manager.

Ms. Ha is an MBA graduate in Strategic Management from Aston Business School, United Kingdom with full scholarship from the Lord Mayor of the city of London and Chevening Programme sponsored by British Government. Ms. Ha holds a bachelor degree in international business from Foreign Trade University Vietnam.

Mr.  Do Chi Hieu, CFA

Head of Real Estate Investment – VinaCapital Fund Management

Verticals: Real Estate Investment, Financial Advisory

Mr. Hieu has more than 12 years of working experience in the investment field. Mr. Hieu is currently leading the real estate investment arm of VinaCapital. Prior to that, he held the role of Financial Advisory Director of Deloitte Vietnam and led over 30 M&A deals spanning across multiple industries, including retail, real estate, manufacturing, logistics and financial services. He also worked at Vingroup as a Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, managing USD4bn assets in residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare and education. Before joining Vingroup, he also served as Investment Manager of Vinaland.

Mr. Hieu holds a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration and Information Systems from Macquarie University, Australia and an MBA degree from University of Hawaii, United States.

Mr. Ngo The Trieu, CFA

Chief Investment Officer – Eastspring Investments Vietnam

Verticals: Portfolio Management, Risk Management

Mr. Trieu is a finance expert with over 15-year experience and financial related area such as banking, audit and actuarial. Mr. Trieu is the Chief Investment Officer cum Lead Fund Manager at Eastspring Investments Vietnam with total AUM of closed to USD2bn, managing various portfolio type ranked from institutional mandate funds to open-ended mutual funds, and managing various asset classes having different risk profiles in public equity, money market and fixed income instruments. Before that, he was a Senior Actuarial Analyst for Prudential Vietnam and an Auditor at Arthur Andersen Audit Company Vietnam.

He holds a Master degree in International Project Management from Skema Business School in France, an MBA from Center of French-Vietnamese Management Institution (CFVG), a BA in Corporate Finance from HCMC University of Economics and a BA in Foreign Economics from Vietnam Foreign Trade University.

Ms. Lam Vu Minh Kieu, CFA

Manager of Transaction Advisory Services – Ernst & Young Vietnam

Verticals: Financial Advisory, Assurance

Ms Kieu has more than 7 years of experience in both Transaction Advisory Services and Assurance Services at EY. She’s currently the Lead Manager of the Valuation & Business Modelling division covering Indochina market and performs valuation and financial models exercises including business valuation, intangible assets valuation, real estate valuation to support M&A transactions, corporate strategies, shareholder disputes, regulatory, tax and accounting compliance purposes. Her expertise also includes financial due diligence, commercial due diligence and equity restructuring. Before that, she had 4 years in Assurance services which gave her professional insights into financial reporting & analysis under international and local accounting and auditing standards.

Ms Kieu holds a Bachelor Degree of Economics (Finance & Banking) from University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University.

Mr. Huynh Duy Sang, CFA

Head of Trading & Sales at Financial Markets – Asia Commercial Bank

Mr. Sang, CFA has more than 11 years of banking experience. He currently serves as Head of Trading and Sales at Financial Markets at Asia Commercial Bank. Since joining the bank in 2006, he was in charge of the Gold Trading Center as Deputy Manager and Treasury Project as Project Manager. He also acts as Associate Lecturer at the University of Business and International Studies (UBIS), Geneve and was a visiting Lecturer at University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Sang holds a Master degree in Banking and Finance from Paris Dauphine University and ESCP-EAP, France.

Mr. Thai Quang Trung, CFA

Deputy Head of Research – Maybank Kim Eng Securities

Mr. Trung has more than 10 years of experience specializing in market strategy consulting and equity research. Mr. Trung serves as Deputy Head of Research at Maybank Kim Eng Securities. Before that, he played a role of Manager of Research and Consulting at Jones Lang LaSalle (Singapore) and mainly involved providing research and consulting services to institutional investors for their real estate investment decision making. Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, he spent a year working at Euromonitor International (Singapore) as a consulting analyst.

Mr. Trung holds a Bachelor Degree in Economic from Singapore Management University, Singapore.

Mr. Tran Hong Van

Chief Financial Officer – Thai Tuan Group Corporation

Verticals: Financial Advisory, Corporate Finance, Audit, Tax

Mr. Van has more than 12 years of working experience in tax, audit, financial advisory and corporate finance. Mr. Van is now the CFO of Thai Tuan Group Corporation. Before that, he held the role of Group Finance Manager and Business Controller at VNG Corporation and worked at Financial & Advisory Services of PwC Vietnam as a Senior Associate and at KPMG as a Senior Auditor. He also spent more than 2 years working as Financial & Tax Accountant at State Street Bank in Australia.

Mr. Van earns a Master’s Degree in Finance from University of Technology, Sydney and a BA in Accounting and Auditing from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
