Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang Nga, CFA

Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Vietcombank Fund Management

Hanoi Women in Investment Management 2018 - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang Nga, CFA.jpg  Nga Nguyen joined VCBF in 2006 as an investment officer in private equity team, covering consumer goods and financial service.

Since 2010 she has been managing discretionary mandates for institutional investors, for which she devises the mandates’ investment strategies and asset allocation and makes investment decisions for each portfolio based on the respective investment policies statement. In addition, Ms. Nga is a portfolio manager for VCBF’s open ended funds. Before that, as head of research, she worked directly with analysts in market screening, sector review, company valuation and investment recommendation.

Prior to joining VCBF, Ms. Nga was with Deloitte Touche (Vietnam) for nearly five years as Senior Auditor and Senior Financial Advisor in charge of audits and advisory assignments for foreign invested companies in various industries and large state own enterprises such as PetroVietnam and Electricity of Vietnam. Ms. Nga holds a Master of Commerce (Advanced) degree from the University of Queensland. Ms. Nga is a CFA Charterholder and a member of CFA Society of Singapore.

 

Mr. Tran Nhat Nam, CFA

Hanoi Women in Investment Management 2018 - Mr. Tran Nhat Nam, CFA.jpgNam Tran has more than 15 years of experience in investment, financial advisory and M&A. He was the M&A Director of KPMG Hanoi, the Investment Banking Manager of Vietnam Partners in Vietnam and New York.

Mr. Nam holds a Master of Administration degree in the United States and is a CFA charterholder from 2009

 

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, CFA

Hanoi Women in Investment Management 2018 - Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, CFA.jpgMs. Nguyen Thi Lan is currently the Deputy General Director of Vietinbank Capital, in charge of managing assets for investors. Prior to joining Vietinbank Capital, she had a 14-year working experience, through many management positions in banking and financial institutions, dealer at Chinfon Bank- Hanoi; officer at Vietcombank H.O; Deputy Head of Investment Analysis Department at VNS Securities Company; Deputy Head of Investment Department at Victoria Capital Management Company; Team Leader of Investment Policy – Credit and Investment Policy Department, Vietinbank H.O.

She graduated with honours, major in Corporate Finance, National Economics University – Hanoi, Master of Finance, University of New South Wales (Australia) under the scholarship program of the Australian Government. She is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Singapore. She is also holder of Fund Management Certificate awarded by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam.
