Vietnam Community of Investment Professionals – A CFA Society in formation announced today the judges for the administration of the local CFA Institute Research Challenge taking place on 13 January 2024, ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ????????????????????, ????????.???????? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????????????, ???????????? ???????????????? ????????????????, ???????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? in which teams of 3-5 students from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh top finance and business universities will present their investment recommendations derived from in-depth research of DigiWorld.

The Research Challenge is an annual global educational initiative designed to promote best and ethical practices in equity research among students from business schools worldwide through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis. Leading industry professionals mentor business and finance students on how to research and report on a publicly traded company.

This year, the initial round of the CFA Institute Research Challenge was hosted by Vietnam Community of Investment Professionals – A CFA Society in formation and sponsored by amiCoach, Smart Train, FiinGroup, Bloomberg, ???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? (VCBF) and KIM Fund.

The winner of this local round will advance to the Regional Finals taking place in Warsaw City Poland, where they will face teams from around the world. More than 6000 students from over 1000 universities worldwide are expected to participate in local challenges as the first step toward the Global Final, which is being held on May 13th  in Poland.

About the CFA Institute Research Challenge
The CFA Institute Research Challenge gathers students, investment industry professionals, publicly traded companies, and corporate sponsors together locally, regionally, and globally for an annual competition. In order to promote best practices in equity research and company analysis, students research, analyze, and report on a company as if they are practicing analysts. Local CFA member societies and other affiliated groups host local level competitions of the Research Challenge in conjunction with the participating universities. The universities assemble teams of three to five business and finance students who work directly with a company in researching and preparing a company analysis. The team’s final presentations are locally evaluated by high-profile panels of heads of research, portfolio managers, and chief investment officers from the world’s top firms. The local champions advance to regional competitions for the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and then to the Global Final, which will be held in Warsaw, Poland on May 13th.
